It's like looking in a mirror, eh?

Wassup. Here's what happened so far:

Games page!

Now has something in it.

It was a Unity In-Editor tutorial that I decided to publish over at my Unity Play site. I would like to add more to it (it's very wonky right now), but what it is, is a test on whether or not one can use an iFrame to load a Unity WebGL game.

And it looks like we can!

Projects page!

Not that there's a lot of people looking at my site as of now, but I didn't want to dump everything I'm doing over at the Blog page, so I separated off a Projects page where my, well, projects would go - that way, if any like-minded people come across my site, be it for Star Wars, Tron, Lego, or whatnot, they don't have to go through the probably not-attractively-named Blogs.

UI Improvements here and there...

  • Very proud of that Command Bar in the Vista UI - not easy to get, that. Check it out in the Projects page. In the XP UI, it's a more muted taskbar addition.

  • Speaking of XP UI, I added more details to the NavBar. There's an Up button now, which of course does nothing.

  • I made a border that looks like Photo paper (is that what it's called? Photo film? Instax?) to go around every image thus far on the website. Makes them easier to pick out, I guess?

What's next? (Some ranting over here)

Oh boy.

There's a lot to go through now.

The Unity game alone is time-consuming enough (I have never been a Unity developer, professionally).

Now we got a Projects page too. And I really like how it turned out so far, but I gotta dig for some pics to put on it. The Project Showcase component of course needs some work.

And all of this is compounded by the fact that, as of the time of this writing, I'm still unemployed and struggling to find a job. I've maybe applied to a hundred or more by now, but damnit, interviews are hard, and tests are even harder. Thanks, ADHD.

It's funny how it's hobbies that keep us sane, but is also a time and money sink, neither of which I have much of right now.

And yet when I do get a job, what becomes of this website?

Days like these really make me question why I became a programmer in the first place. And no, it's certainly not to be "replaced by AI" - can't wait for that bubble to burst.

In the meantime, I'll live.
